Obama is bashing McCain's energy policy again and saying nuclear energy is
not safe and the waste handling is very dangerous....
If he truly believe this, maybe his policy focus should be how to shut down
and dismantle the current running over 100 nuclear power plants in US, most
of which were built in the 70's and 80's. Since they are such potential
hazards to the public, why would we allow them running wild?
I know at least the Indian Point nuclear power center,sitting on Hudson
river, only 40 miles north of NYC, with over 30 millions population within
100 miles radius, has been running since 70's. How could we keep allowing
the time bomb ticking there?
Obama, dismantle those nuclear power plants. People will support you!
